Wes finally got the Trachea surgery (that we have been asking for). I got to see him late in the night he was awake n doing good. Said that it hurt to talk, so I was just reading his lips rather than hearing him....
Wes got another surgery yesterday, they finally put the Trache in that we have been asking for, for over a week now. He seems to be in good spirits, but said that it hurts to talk.When I asked him if we were bothering him by having 24/7 family care in his room w him, he smiled at me and said he liked it!The Nurses don't like us there all night long. But what Wes wants is key!
